Ciaran McHale
Ciaran is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with around ten years of experience working in a variety of mental health services. Over that time Ciaran has supported people in their recovery from diverse problems such as depression, low self-esteem/ low self-confidence, anxiety disorders like panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, OCD and PTSD.
Ciaran works mainly from a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) model in seeking to understand his clients' difficulties. However, he also draws on ideas from mindfulness based approaches, psychodynamic, systemic, humanistic, and third wave therapies. Above all, Ciaran aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space for his clients to talk and think.
All Practitioners at Brighton Consulting rooms work independently and are responsible for ensuring they are insured and, where applicable, are members of approved professional bodies.
