Integrative Psychotherapist: children, teens, adults, parent work; Clinical Supervisor BA, MA, Dip Supervision, UKCP registered EMDR, DBR, Transforming Touch®, IFS-Informed
Hi, my name is Inbar. I am an Integrative and Holistic Psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience working with adults, children, teenagers, and parents. I integrate traditional psychotherapy with creative methods, relational and transpersonal perspectives, and somatic practices, weaving in cutting-edge interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family System (IFS)-informed therapy, and Transforming Touch®—a profoundly gentle yet powerful form of touch therapy. We will work at a level and pace to suit you, always appreciating your individual needs, within a gentle and supportive environment. I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) and remain committed to lifelong learning, deepening my practice, and continuing to create spaces where healing, connection, and transformation can unfold.

Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or stuck at times. Whether you're seeking change, support, or simply a space to reflect, this is a safe place for you to begin.

What I Offer

My integrative and holistic approach combines mind, body, and emotional work, tailored to your unique journey. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither are you.

  • For Adults:
Are you longing for meaningful change, greater self-awareness, or relief from anxiety, low mood, or stress? Are you looking to overcome effects of adverse childhood experiences? Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and gently move toward a more aligned and fulfilling life.
  • For Parents:
Parenting can be tough. Through consultations, I support you in understanding your child’s emotional world and learn how their behaviours is a form of communication. This will empower you to be the parent you want to be, will help to improve your relationship with your child and therefore, foster a stronger, calmer family environment.
    For Children & Young People:
If your child is struggling with big worries, school stress, anxiety, or low mood, I offer a warm, creative space where they can feel heard, supported, and understood.

How I Work

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing occurs through authentic connection, attunement, and the co-creation of meaning between therapist and client.

I integrate different therapeutic methods including:Talking therapy
Creative techniques
Play-based approaches (for younger clients)
Somatic and mindfulness practices
Attachment and trauma-informed care
Specialised Modalities:

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) – is a comprehensive therapy that was developed by Francine Shapiro. It is used to help people process and recover from past distressing experiences and their lingering effects on one’s mental health, emotional wellbeing, relationships and daily functioning in the present.

Internal Family System (IFS)-informed therapy – IFS is an approach to psychotherapy that was developed by Dr Richard Schwartz. It focuses on identifying, understanding and healing wounded and often younger internal parts and restoring balance and harmony by changing the relationships that create discord between the parts and the Core Self.

Transforming Touch® - Is a Regulation-Focused Approach that aims to improve regulation and reduce the effects of stress and trauma on the nervous system. It incorporates gentle touch and movement or intentional touch (no physical contact involved).

Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) - is a gentle, body‑based therapy that helps you process the very earliest layers of stress or trauma. By slowing down and noticing subtle physical cues, DBR supports your nervous system in releasing old patterns so you can feel calmer, safer, and more grounded in the present.
This holistic approach honours each individual’s lived experience.

What I love most about my work is co-creating a therapeutic space that feels responsive, safe, and deeply attuned to each client’s unique needs. Grounded in an understanding of trauma, attachment, and the human spirit, I strive to ensure that clients feel seen, valued, and supported. Many describe me as warm and compassionate, sharing that they feel safe to explore and grow within our work together.

Clinical Supervision

As an experienced clinical supervisor, I work with both trainee and qualified psychotherapists and counsellors. My supervision practice is rooted in an inclusive, compassionate, and relational approach—one that fosters learning, development, and professional growth in a space where reflection and curiosity are encouraged.

All Practitioners at Brighton Consulting rooms work independently and are responsible for ensuring they are insured and, where applicable, are members of approved professional bodies.
