Dr Jeanne Guiraud
I offer a non-judgemental space and gently encourage self-discovery in my sessions. At the initial assessment, I clarify needs and provide psychoeducation. A care plan is also agreed, with the involvement of parents / carers when appropriate. I have more than 10 years’ experience working with young people in NHS mental health settings (CAMHS), which has honed my ability to use the evidence base rigorously and adapt my approach flexibly and creatively to support young people engage meaningfully and reach their goals for therapy (for instance I use mindfulness and take into account sensory needs in my practice). I consider it a privilege and find it extremely rewarding to accompany young people in their journey to improve their wellbeing.
In addition to my current NHS role, I offer a few slots each week to support young people in my private practice. Please get in touch for more information on fees and availability if you think that I can be of any help.
