I am a psychotherapist, as a Play Therapist, I work with children aged between 4-16 years. I practice a client-centred, humanistic approach offered as a one-to-one or parent-child sessions. Play acts as a window into a child's lives, and enables them to process their lived experiences and develop strategies to regulate their emotions and manage during adversity.

As your therapist, you can expect for me to facilitate a safe space for your child to play through their experience. I adopt a systemic approach and conduct parent reviews throughout the intervention, we will reflect on themes that arise within their play, and will suggest strategies for you to implement at home.

I trained in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, this follows a filial therapy model, designed for children facing behavioural, emotional, social and attachment issues. This is a 10-session parent programme, centred around play  techniques and strengthening the child-parent bond.

My Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies with Psychology, evoked my curiosity about development. I worked in early years for a significant period of time, and have experience working with children and teenagers who have mild to significant mental health needs or have complex family systems.
